Preston Centre

Unfortunately the Preston Ordinariate Centre has had to close. We haven’t yet decided about future celebrations for the Lancashire Ordinariate, but as soon as a decision is made, it will be announced here and on the main Ordinariate website at www.ordinariate.org.uk under Groups.

One Response to Preston Centre

  1. I am a cradle Catholic and have followed the development of this wonderful initiative from our former Holy Father, Benedict XVI.
I make a special effort to attend the Carmelite Convent every first Saturday of the month in order t0 attend Holy mass celebrated by a priest from the Ordinariate.. I am very impressed by the dignity and the way the priest celebrates, good rubrics etc.
Unfortunately I have never had the opportunity to speak with any Ordinariate priest and to find out about your own Morning Noon ad Evening Prayers – Matins etc.
I imagine the Ordinariate brevary is superior in it’s translation to the present Catholic Morning and Evening Prayer (published in the 1970’s)I would love some information general and special. I have just seen on your Web site (my first visit) that the Preston centre has had to close for some reason. I give you my postal address, email, etc. Could someone please contact me. I would love to be more involved and possibly help.
God Bless all the Ordinariate and may you continue to grow (Unity without uninformative) Frank Swarbrick, Little Sisters of the Poor, 228 Garstang Road Fulwood, Preston, PR2 9RB Lancashire
