Lancashire Ordinariate Group was established in Blackpool in 2012 in response to Pope Benedict’s gracious invitation to those of Anglican background to enter into full communion with the Catholic Church while retaining our unique patrimony in liturgy, spirituality and pastoral care.

Our pastor/leader is Fr Masaki Narusawa, Priest of the Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham.

We began holding our monthly Ordinariate Mass at St Bernadette’s in Bispham, and from September 2013, our focus shifts to Preston at the new Ordinariate Centre where Saturday Vigil Mass will take place at 6.30 pm weekly. See details on the North West Ordinariate Centre website at

Please contact Fr Masaki if you are interested in the Ordinariate, or wish to enter the Ordinariate, in the strictest confidence. We welcome people from Anglican tradition and of no church background, who wish to enter into full communion with the Catholic Church. Also those who were baptised as Catholics but have not received First Communion or Confirmation can also join. Enquiries from laypeople, clergy, religious or ordinands (seminarians) welcome, as well as parishes and congregations.
